My toddler and I both have severe allergies and asthma. To the point that over the past month we have both been having major issues with the pollen and smog in the air, even with being home most of the time! I ordered this one after doing A LOT of research, and I decided this was the best for the money. With a true HEPA filter that you replace once a year (opposed to once a month) it would save money in the long run. I chose this one for the den in our house and over the coming weeks we will be getting smaller ones for the bed rooms.

This review for right now is 24 hours in to having it on in the house, and later I will come back and add to it.
Set up was easy straight out of the box, and I put it out of traffic areas in the house. I was worried with where I put it there would be trouble for good air circulation, but it is doing great! In fact with it on high I noticed a tag on the other side of the room (directly across) was moving on one of the toys yesterday as I was cleaning. Then I cooked fish last night (our den has an open doorway to the kitchen), and I couldnt even smell it cooking!! I decided to test it this morning, and sat on the couch painting my nails. Even using nail polish remover I couldnt smell it!!! (which astounds me b/c I hate doing my nails simple b/c of the toxic fumes!!) As far as noise, its not that bad. On high, with the tv and with kids running around it is a little white noise and thats it. I sleep with the bed room doors open, and having a tower computer on in the den annoyed me, however on medium I couldn't even hear it in the den! The only k-cup I buy

I have had a little Keurig machine for the past 2 years. While it is very convenient, I was initially bummed to find that a lot of the coffee you can get for it tastes VERY weak. Even the bold or dark roast ones just tasted bitter, not strong. And the flavored coffees... don't get me started.

Not the case with the donut shop k-cups. These produce well-balanced, flavorful, dunkin donuts-esque coffee. It's pretty standard, really, and that is PERFECT, because regular coffee is all I'm going for! There's are some Wolfgang Puck k-cups at my office that are pretty decent too, but I've been ordering and reordering donut shop for over a year and have no plans to change.

When you open it up, the top part holds about 3 heaping tablespoons of coffee, and below the coffee grounds is a cute little filter. It's constructed very well and I've never had any issues with coffee grounds leaking.
We lived in Italy for 3 years, and I really got into gourmet coffee, and some very bold Italian brands. But, now I'm hooked on the Donut Shop brands. They just taste darn good!!

I love granola and cereal in general, but I have to say that this is the very best granola I have ever had. The people at Bear Naked have a philosophy that I love, and which is on the back of every bag: "we believe food should be hand-made from wholesome and natural ingredients you can actually pronounce." Although I do eat processed food, I appreciate the appeal of the more traditionally prepared foods, and this granola tops the list for nutrition and taste.

Like most granola, it is high in calories and fat, but take note that the fat comes largely from the nuts contained (it also contains expeller pressed canola oil), and it has no trans fat, and only 1.5g of saturated fat per serving. This cereal is softer than most granola, though not soft enough for me to consider it chewy. It does have large chunks of nuts and also contains cranberries and flax seed, for optimal nutritional and digestive health.

The six-pack sold on Amazon makes the price per package reasonable (the ingredients are quite expensive), so as a value proposition, I think this is not only a great product, but a great buy.

Delicious and nutritious: a great combination that I recommend highly.

Flavor is deep and complex, without bitternessor acidity

This review is for Midtown Madness:
I tend to gravitate towards darker coffees with a deep "coffee" flavor rather than any of that light, medium, or fancy flavored stuff. I like my coffee to taste like coffee and I want it to be strong enough that I still get a full bodied coffee flavor after adding a little cream and sweetener.
But I hate coffee with a bitter taste and acidic aftertaste, which is where most coffees go once they get in the bold flavor range. This coffee promised to be medium range so I had decided I would have one cup and likely pass it off to my teenage son or husband...after tasting it I am keeping it for myself :)
This one, wowed me! It is a very deep and complex coffee, full of bold flavor but completely void of bitterness or acidity.

Welcome to my new favorite coffee.
